- I wanted to try something different from the usual big brand options (Samsung, Apple, HTC, etc) and saw the spec list on the Xiaomi Mi4i. After playing with this for about two weeks, have to say that it's as good as anything branded that I've used in terms of real-world performance and speed. There is no real difference based on my experience apart from this being MUCH cheaper. Octa Core Snapdragon CPU is just crazy fast, no lag anywhere. Really sweet multitasking and general performance under the hood. As a phone, it has nice good heft to it but doesn't feel bulky at any time. It also feels nice and premium in my hand. Overall, I'm a bit surprised at how fast this is; generally, not something I would expect from a China phone lol.

На форумах читал что обычно коробка вскрыта а прошивка стоит модифицированная. Мне пришла TW версия с компактным зарядным устройством. Возможно что распечатанными и перепрошитыми являются только HK версии. В общем и целом можно сказать что тем кто много играет в 3D игры возможно стоит посмотреть в сторону mi4 а в остальном аппарат на мой личный взгляд превосходит предшественника.

- Больше в телефоне впечатляет дисплей, он превосходный. Второе что впечатляет не менее - это размер и вес устройства и это при наличии батареи в 3000. всё остальное не вызывает никаких нареканий, телефон: удобный, компактный и лёгкий. До этого был телефон с размером дисплея 4,7 и я беспокоился что этот будет неудобен, но он напротив за счёт более меньшего веса кажется невесомым и не ощущается в кармане брюк. Что касается энергопотребления, то оно конечно зависит от использования. в среднем у меня получалось без игр, т.е. только чтение книг и интернет который я периодически подключал - 7-8 часов работы дисплея. 3G4G включаю только при необходимости, всё остальное время 2G. За ночь телефон в режиме полёта не разряжается вообще ни на один процент. т.е. за 8 часов 100% и остаётся. Хотя на форумах пишут об обратном.
- Great smartphone at an awesome price here at gearbest. Xiaomi made it true and lunched an incredible featured smartphone on the market with a spectacular price tag. It is very solid and well built. Feels really good in the hand with a minimalist design and soft touch. MIUI personalized Android of Xiaomi's is also a nice piece of software that combines perfectly with the design and hardware. I received it well packed, sealed and really fast trough DHL from European Warehouse. Best experience.

- Bought as secondary / more portable phone (main phone is Samsung Galaxy Note4 phablet). I was very positively impressed since I've got it because: - Excellent build quality, exceeded my expectations (quite high ones after reading gsmarena review); - Very usable MIUI 7 Android customization (had MIUI 6 when unboxed, it started updating right after data connection); - Good performance, good enough display quality with perfect resolution (FullHD); - Quite thin and nice to hand-hold; - Good battery life.

- I don't have anything serious against, except maybe it would have been nice if screen protectors were included (one matte and one smooth) because I understand that glass is not as scratch-resistant as gorillaglass 3 or better.
- Gran telefono, dimensioni ottimali, leggero, arrivato in tempi brevi (4 giorni) dal magazzino europeo. Ottimo il display, il telefono si sente bene ed è veloce con gli applicativi. La confezione ha uno scratch code che consente di verificare se il telefono è originale, e xiaomi ha rilasciato anche una applicazione per effettuare la verifica (che è andata bene, ma leggete i "cons"). La carica è particolarmente veloce col suo alimentatore (ma vedi i "cons"). 16GB per me sono più che sufficienti.

- Arriva con un "vecchio" firmware con la lingua italiana, penso (e spero) preinstallato da Gearbest. Attenzione: ho dovuto reinstallare un firmware più recente (6.6.10) perché la app di verifica Xiaomi lo riconoscesse come originale. Sarebbe meglio che fosse preinstallata una versione più recente. Non è possibile espandere la memoria con una sd card (e 16 GB per qualcuno potrebbero essere pochi). Ovviamente è possibile collegare un idoneo usb stick. Il telefono in certe condizioni scalda in modo fastidioso: ciò è sicuramente dovuto anche alle attuali temperature ambientali, in ogni caso il problema si riduce installando l'ultimo firmware e selezionando la modalità bilanciata per la batteria. Per usare l'alimentatore è necessario un adattatore. Come sapete non supporta la banda LTE 800MHz.
- This was my first order from Gearbest and very impressed with this Mi4i, along with general service and shipping. Very professional from start to finish. Phone itself came well packed and worked right out of the box. Set up was a breeze and easy to use in terms of Android familiarity. Everything is ready to go in a few minutes. Good responsiveness, comparable to all the familiar brands names, nice accessories and the quality is fantastic. Easy to recommend this Xiaomi and gearbest :)

- Покупал для жены данный телефон, пришел очень быстро (до РБ за 2 недели). Настоящий аппарат от xiaomi, все проверки прошел. Работает без нареканий, прошился на глобальную прошивку с русским. Отличный экран, приятный пластик на задней крышке. Камера как мне показалось лучше чем на моем mi4. 2 sim работают отлично, связь держит уверенно, работает 4g на МТС. В общем спасибо gerabest за отличную цену, подлинный товар и быструю доставку.

- I read that Mi4 has heating problems that could be resolved with MIUI fix, but, to my surprise, for now, my phone does not have heating problems! I am reluctant to update the MIUI 6.5.5 to 7.1.1, since I have read that the phone works better with MIUI 6 than 7, and 6.5.5 update is the one that fixed the heating problems, so why change something that already works great? I love the build quality of the phone and the screen. Battery lasts 2 days, if you do not use wifi.

- I also read, a little too late after my purchase, that Mi4c has a better camera than this one. I cannot compare them, since I didn't have Mi4c in my hands, but I can say that the camera is pretty good. So, I guess, if you want a better camera, go with Mi4c. Lack of SD card slot is a con.

- Индикатор событий мелковат, не всегда можно заметить пропущенные звонки или сообщения. Под дисплеем находятся сенсорные кнопки «Назад», «Домой», «Меню» или вызов ранее запущенных приложений. Без подсветки их не видно. Сами кнопочки некрупные, подсветка тусклая: днем или на солнце ее не видно.
- Very nice phone at a good price. A little bit average CPU, but very well built for the price. Bought from EU warehouse and received it the next day! It is one of the last models with unlocked bootloader from Xiaomi, unlike mi4c. The phone came with official Global ROM and Google services preinstalled. Some Xiaomi phones come with custom roms installed from seller which can not be updated but this phone is OK. Very quick and responsive, Camera is also very quick.

- No SD card slot. 16 GB internal memory is a little bit low. Around 13 GB free. Only 2 GB of ram. Average camera quality - Not very good at low lightning.
